I had invited a “woman” over after meeting online. She never told me “she” was transgender, and looked very different from the photos. I was drunk and taken advantage of, and penetrated against my will. I felt so awful and violated, and afraid to speak up. I knew that if I said I was raped by a trans woman, I’d be excommunicated from the local gay community. I’m so glad that you are providing an outlet for those of us who’ve never been allowed to share their story.
